Training guidelines of the DGSF


Overview / schedule of the training guidelines of the DGSF (as of 09/2008)

1. Systemic Therapy and Counseling (DGSF)

Duration of 3 years with a minimum of 900 course units (1 course unit (CU) = min. 45 mins.) – thereof 300 CU of theory and methodology, 150 CU of systemic supervision, 150 CU of self-discovery, 200 CU of therapeutic practise / counselling practise, 100 CU of intervision/peer group.

2. Systemic Counseling (DGSF)

Duration of 2 years with a minimum of 550 course units (1 course unit (CU) = min. 45 mins.) – thereof 200 CU of theory and methodology, 100 CU of systemic supervision, 100 CU of  self-discovery related to one’s profession / self-reflection, 70 CU of systemic counseling practise, 80 CU of intervision/peer group.

3. Systemic Supervision (DGSF)

Duration of 2 years with a minimum of 550 course units (1 course unit (CU) = min. 45 mins.) – thereof 250 CU of theory and methodology, 100 CU of systemic supervision practise, 100 CU of systemic teaching supervision, 50 CU of profession-based self-reflection, 50 CU of intervision. Advanced vocational training: completion of a training course in counseling and therapy is a requirement.

4. Systemic Child and Youth Therapy (DGSF)

Duration of 1 years with a minimum of 330 course units (1 course unit (CU) = min. 45 mins.) – thereof 100 CU of theory and methodology, 50 CU of systemic supervision, 30 CU of self-discovery, 100 CU of therapeutic practise / counselling practise, 50 CU of intervision/peer group. Advanced vocational training: completion of a further training course in counseling and therapy is a requirement.

In addition (9/2009): Systemic Coaching (DGSF), 1,5 years with a minimum of 380 course units (1 course unit (CU) = min. 45 mins.)
